‘Will’ means not the ordinary desire but an unflinching, undaunting wish to achieve something. If you have a will to achieve your goal, you will positively overcome the difficulties that come in your way. Every problem has its solution.

Whatever, inventions are seen today were a problem one day, but the will and hard work of the inventor found their solution. Impossible is possible for the persons of strong will. Path of success runs through many labyrinths of failures. One, who has a will to achieve success, never gets frustrated by the odds and failures of the path. Every successful man fails many times but with unshaken faith and strong will, he becomes successful one day. Think high, try your best, without being daunted by the odds of the path, and success is yours.

One can certainly win and achieve one’s goal, if one firmly believes in self and makes up one’s mind to lead and succeed. The secret of success lies in the determination, dedication, and perseverance of a man. A man who strides majestically with firm steps and unshaken faith, no matter what the odds and obstacles, is the man who actually finds his way and achieves success.

It is the unwavering faith and self-confidence that makes the man a winner. Faith brings miracles. It looks beyond all boundaries, transcends all limitations, conquers all obstacles and carries one to one’s goal. Therefore, whosoever has resolution, indefatigable ‘will’ unfettered confidence and faith in him will march ahead, onward, upward till the goal is achieved.

To win, you have to be optimistic. Optimism keeps your hope and determination alive. It makes you think positively. If you have courage and ‘will’, patience and perseverance, you will invariably win. Have faith, repose confidence and begin the work here and now. Chart out your plan, mobilize your resources, get going and keep moving ahead. Be resolute; do not stop, till the goal is reached. Be certain that each day you cover and advance some distance and make some progress even if slow, but ensure it remains steady. You are bound to face obstacles any route to success, but with courage and strong ‘will’ you can overcome all of them.

Indian freedom fighters fought with the mighty British, sacrificed their luxuries, sacrificed their lives but were never deterred by these odds. It was their indomitable will that India could attain the freedom. Positive thinking, self confidence, hard work and dedication towards the aim, makes a man successful.

One step at a time and that well placed will take you to the grandest height. One seed at a time and the forest grows one stone at a time and the palace rises, one drop at a time and the river flows, one word at a time and the great book is written.

The only thing is to start with firm determination, strong and unfettered ‘will’ and the way is yours .So it is rightly said, ” Where there is a will there is a way”.

To achieve your goals and get success, you must believe and trust in yourself. Unless you belief and trust yourself, true success may not happen for you.

Most people fail in life because they don’t trust themselves. They have made many resolutions and set up many goals that failed and so become disappointed. They listen to the pessimistic opinions of their family members and friends. Stay away from negative people who enjoy telling you all the time why you’ll never succeed. Seek and associate with positive people who have the same ambitions in life like you do. Think about both sides of everything before doing it. Have big dreams. Let your imagination soar high to the blue sky. No matter what happens to you in life, don’t give up on yourself. Never give up on your dreams and aspirations. Some dreams may take a short time to become a reality while others may take a long time, but all the same they will come true someday, if you keep moving on.

One becomes what one dreams to be, only if one can be persistently diligent and determined. Self belief and self-efficacy are the two most basic elements for one to move forward in any spheres of life. All the great men of today had to face failures at some point of their lives, but they become great because they believed in themselves and did not let go their dreams even in the times of adversity.

Make yourself number one. Trust yourself. Listen to yourself. “Respect yourself. Think well of yourself. Think of what is good for you. Set up goals and resolutions. Then obtain all the necessary tools and resources to help you. Then take action. Read good books, watch good movies, and eat healthy food. Think right. Have network with the right people. Exchange ideas. Be alert and aware wherever you are. Rise up and shine. May long life, good health and success be yours.

“A man who wins is the man who thinks He can”.—Walter D Wintle

Positive thinking leads a man to success. One, who thinks that he can achieve the things, will put his best to achieve, will not be fettered by the problems in the path of success and one day he will win positively. Self confidence, determination, perseverance, and hard work are the keys to success.

Every small or big, easy or complex problem has its solution. There is a way out of every labyrinth, and there is an answer to every enigma. The only requirements are the confidence, hard work and determination and you get the answer.

Where there is a will, there is a way. If you find any problem, a typical one, don’t lose heart, go ahead and devote yourself fully, analyze each aspect, and get the problem solved. Every invention taken place so far was riddled with many unfound answers, but the inventor’s zeal and perseverance found the solution and a new invention took place. For a confident person, the word ‘impossible’ is not there in his dictionary. A determined and dedicated person finds way in all complexities. Undaunted by the initial problems and failures he keeps on finding solution to every teaser and one day he achieves his cherished goal.

Dedication, devotion to the task and positive thinking with determination has been the important stepping stones of success of every successful celebrity. Take the example Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, the widow of Prime Minister Rajeev Gandhi, who participated and campaigned in the Lok Sabha election 2004, stepping stones and 2009, undaunted by the criticism, personal attacks and all kinds of perversities she went alone campaigning alone without having any other ‘Star’ campaigner, covered almost the whole of the country against the BJP and showed the world how congress got the majority.

She has shown her unflinching determination, unfettered self-confidence, dedication and devotion to the cause without worrying for the results and she is the winner. Every Tom and Dick had questioned her nationality, her foreign origin, but she cared a fig for all criticism and showed her caliber. Examples of Mayawati, Jayalalitha, Mamta Bannerjee and Sushma Swaraj, who all belong to other political parties, are equally brilliant and shining ones.

Life is a battle, one has to fights it fearlessly. Fights with confidence, positive attitude, right aptitude, with determined and concerted efforts, lead to the surest path of success. Fortune is said to favour the brave. God also help those who help themselves. A coward, a pessimist dare not fight in the race. It is an optimist and determined soul, who dares to fight, and has the chance of success.

“A winner never quits and a quitter never wins” shows that one who constantly tries to achieve something, one who endeavours hard incessantly to achieve something, is the winner, later or sooner, but a quitter could never be a winner. When Vallabhbhai Patel told that ‘Swaraj is my birth right’ so many people found it mere a slogan, but the incessant struggle put by all the freedom fighters supported the claim of Patel and we could win the freedom. Organizing the efforts properly, in right direction, striking at the opportune time, are essential for achieving a target. Optimism, determination, and undaunted will power make every impossible task possible.

Confidence is the most important key to success. It boosts the morale and creates determination to attain a goal. The loss of confidence makes a man pessimist, coward or a dead man. The importance of ‘right deeds’ is well emphasized in Bhagwat Geeta, Lord Krishna tells Arjun to follow the path of righteousness, the path of dedication, Do Karma, don’t think about the result, the God is omnipresent, omnipotent, the results as per your deeds will follow. It should also be remembered that the positive and constructive thoughts which aim for the betterment of mankind are met with success. They should not be riddled with self aggrandizement as evil thoughts never bring good results.

Your biggest asset is your enthusiasm that enriches with your positive thinking. Never lose hope, remain cheerful, put the best foot forward with your total involvement, and, are sure to win.

Through positive thinking one can overcome the mountains. One who always thinks positively even in adverse circumstances wins. Positive thinking always pays. Life belongs to the ambitious.

Peace means freedom from war, but how can we preserve it unless or until we are well equipped for war. A peace loving nation may not have any intention to enlarge its boundaries but who can guarantee the intentions of neighbour countries.

Very strange and paradoxical it seems that preparedness for war is essential for preserving peace. But the saying appears to be true for if a country is well equipped with all the modern war gadgets and weapons, other nations will have to think twice before attacking. On the other hand, a weak nation becomes prey to the whims and aggressions of powerful neighbours. Balance of power is must for preserving peace.

What happened with our country when China attacked in 1962? We, being a fully peace loving country, never felt the necessity till then to equip ourselves with modern war gadgets and weapons. China, took the opportunity and attacked us, and made encroachment on our land. What did UNO do? What Super Powers did? None came to our rescue. Think of today, when we are equipped with all kinds of nuclear and other weapons, can China dare to attack us now? No…, because China well knows our preparedness for war. Our ‘No First Attack’ stand with Pakistan, since 1971, is because of being capable to destroy that country in all eventualities. In the present world your power decides your relations with neighbours.

The attack of USA on Iraq and the removal of Osamabin Laden from Afghanistan and finally from Pakistan all show the same thing that best guarantee for peace is your best preparedness for war. A powerful country can dictate terms to the less powerful one.

But ‘Peace’ if taken in a broader sense, reflects something different. Actually peace can’t be preserved only with the preparedness for war. Preparedness for war could be a deterrent for an attacking country, but the real thing is the removal of cause of war, removal of cause of discontent, and removal of disparities. Think of a situation, when nobody has any war weapons. Will the society or mankind not survive then peacefully? The actual requirement for preserving peace is faith in principles of co-existence, faith in integrity and sovereignty of all nations, faith in the inherent values of humanity and mankind. Total disarmament, destruction of nuclear and other weapons, making the UNO really effective must be the aims to keep the whole world in peace. Terrorism, imperialistic intentions, racial and religious hatredness must be eliminated at all costs and only then we can think of preserving peace in this world.

All these comments are like sermons of ethics which one finds difficult to follow. The lessons non-violence can be effective but how much sacrifices one has to make, can be well understood with Indian experience. To tackle the imperial whim of the rulers it is but necessary that we are prepared for all the eventualities. After attaining independence the great and peace loving leaders of our country followed the principles of panchsheel and never thought to get ready or prepare ourselves for any ill will of the neighbours, and as a result we had to lose land, when China attacked.

The ancient history of India reveals so many examples where a stronger ruler always attacks the weaker neighbour. America attacked Japan and dropped atom bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki because Japan was a weak country.

Nothing but power, your preparations for any eventualities, your preparations to face any imperialistic whims, can guarantee you the peace. So, it is the right conclusion that preparedness for war is necessary for the preservation of peace.

One success leads to another success. If you get one success, it is usual that you get an encouragement to try to get another success. Success boosts confidence of a person. Success imbibes self respect; success motivates and fills one with glory. This change in emotional state has something to do with a truism we’ve all heard: “Nothing succeeds like success.” When you feel successful, you’re willing to tackle uncertain jobs in the belief that you’re going to succeed again. Success is the aim of success. That for we aspire for, reflects our ability and capability to do a thing.

Dedication, devotion to the task and positive thinking with determination has been the important factors of success of every successful man. Nothing that comes too easily is worth having? When you want to succeed, be ready to pay the price for it, which include braving failures and setbacks and keep persistent with your efforts till the goal is achieved. Mere talking idle, day dreaming or aimless drifting, will not take you to goal, but only divert your attention and dissipate your energy and strength. Hardships, obstacles, failures are the various points in the path of success. They are not to be evaded, but to face them bravely, courageously and with double vigour.

But mind it; achieving success is not an easy task. Success needs a lot of hard work, devotion and dedication to the task. Sometimes one has to face failures while trying to achieve something, but for getting success, such in between failures must be dealt with without any depression or frustration on the part of the person.

Once you succeed, keep the momentum. Keeping oneself at the top is a task more difficult than to achieve success. You are to put more hard work, more energies to get success further and maintain your hitherto achieved success. I believe in the saying that nothing succeeds like success.
