Proverb Expansion

A DROWNING MAN WILL CATCH AT A STRAW

A person is drowning, will desperately clutch even at a floating straw. The only thought that is in his mind is to catch at something that will save him. To him, it does not make any difference, between a log of wood and a straw. In a desperate situation, the person facing, will grab at any opportunity in the hope of solving it. To him, it does not matter if it is a small or a big chance. Just like the drowning man clutching a straw, the man facing a desperate situation will grab any opportunity irrespective of its worth. Desperation makes man frantic. A frantic person crosses all limits for solving his problem.
