MULTI-SKILL & MULTI-TASKING It means the ability of a person to do more than one thing at a time. For example, one can see a person checking a file while at the same time, speaking over the phone. It is said, “Practice with your left hand while the right is still there.” Everyone is gifted with equal power but some utilize them well. Benjamin Franklin is a fine example to it. A man of letters, he was a Printer, Publisher, Scientist, Author, Ambassador and Inventor. It was he who invented a special stove named after him as, Franklin stove, lightning rod and bifocal spectacle. Considering the multitasking abilities of Franklin, what an amount of ceaseless efforts he should have put! Ancient writer Aristotle was also a thinker, philosopher, scientist, psychologist and litterateur. Similarly, anyone can develop this skill; it requires patience, hard work, dedication and a stubborn will. Try to draw or write in your left hand if you are a right-hander, and vice versa. If you are good at one sport, practice another; learn more languages, at least to the extent of speaking.
