Life in associated with movement; movement is controlled by time; time brings change; and life wants change; change is brought by travelling. Human beings are compelled to move. Man travels for adventure, for trade, for sightseeing, for pilgrimage or for enquiring unknown lands.

We travel in hill resorts and sea shores to escape the severe heat, we travel to sunny climate to escape from severe cold and enjoy warm sun shine. We travel too far of lands is make fortune, we travel for finding the unknown into horizon.

Travelling educates us. It teaches us from the open book of nature. Eye catches better than ear and retains it well. That is why what we see forget less and what we hear we forget more. Then travelling must be a part of education as in America or Europe. Social and physical treasure unfolded before our eyes, when we travel. Business and commerce was learnt by us when we travel. Travelling gives practical experience of living. It acquaints us with style of living habits, customs, traditions, food, clothing as above all the nature of people distributed all over the world. Such a deep knowledge is difficult to get from books. Travelling brings the man of all ages and nations together.

All the fellow beings face as show some ordeals while travelling. Their prolonged contact in travelling increases their friendship – They understand each other better develop love and mutual respect. Also travelling broadens mental horizon. All those who lived intensively become most considerate person. Pilgrims, businessman, and such people do not hurt or offended others feelings normally. Travelling exposes man to different weather conditions. A traveller is exposed to heavy rains, severe cold or scorching heat. Sometimes we enjoy fine wood land air to hilly breeze. Sometimes a traveller sleeps under a open sky in a desert or under a tree shade or in a rock cabode. Such a life makes man sturdy and healthy.

Travelling brings us closer to the nature. All of us who travel enjoy the features of snow covered tall Himalayas with waterfalls, wild trees and shrubs. We inhale the pure mounts air filled with aroma of roots and herbs, in the north. While in Deep South we enjoy the confluence of seas in the ocean. The beautiful scenes of rising and setting of the sun and the moon from the Indian ocean are some of the beauties that travelers enjoy. By travelling one comes to know the productive activity of different places and the necessary material required in those places. With this knowledge the travelers become traders. They carry commodities produced at one place in plenty to their places when they are not available. Spices, ivory, precious stones, silks and steel swords are taken by traveller from India through West Asia to European countries in medieval time. Sea trade routes were established. Trade and commerce flourished due to excessive travelling in those days. Travelling makes a person more observant wise and attentive. Travelling helps everybody but it helps more than youth and the seekers of knowledge.
