SWEET ARE THE USES OF ADVERSITY
Adversity means danger or misfortune. The proverb means that adversity has any many advantages. Some people get weakened when they face adversity. They will lose courage and self-confidence. They also curse God when misfortunes come to them. To them, adversity is a tragedy. This is not right attitude. Adversity has its own its benefits. The uses of adversity are sweet as well as useful and educative, as the individual concerned comes out to be more hardy and courageous. He battles against heavy old and wins smashing victories. We can learn good lessons from adversity. Adversity is good teacher. When misfortune comes to us, we should calmly try to understand similar misfortunes in future. Moreover, adversity urges us to overcome the difficulties of life with courage. Most of the great men of the world belonged to the lower strata of the society. But the lessons they learned during the struggle for existence or from their misfortunes helped them to attain high position in life. Adversity gives us the qualities of courage, patience, tolerance, and wisdom. So, it can be correctly said that sweet are the uses of adversity.
