A THING OF BEAUTY IS A JOY FOR EVER
“A Thing of Beauty is a Joy for Ever” is a famous line from John Keats poem “Endymeon”. John Keats, a nature poet, finds beauty in all things. A beauty is a combination of qualities that pleases our aesthetic sense. A thing of beauty excites our inner self and makes us praise it through its transitory. A rose is beautiful flower. It withers away very soon. A rainbow in the sky after rain looks so beautiful. It disappears as quickly as it appeared. A lily of a day is such a beauty. All these leave permanent impression in our mind and we always remember their beauty. Even their thoughts cheer our spirits and lighten our sorrows. One finds the beauty in the smallest of things. God has given beauty to all his creations. It is for us to see this beauty and appreciate it. Great works of art are everlasting source of joy. The beautiful objects create sensational effect on us. We can feel it is in small proportions and life may be perfect in small measures. It is for us to respond to the beauty spread around us.
