A JOURNEY BY TRAIN
Last Sunday I went to Agra with my friend. We reached the railway station at 9 a.m. There was a long queue at the booking window. We could get our tickets with great difficulty. The passengers were moving here and there. The coolies were carrying the luggage. The hawkers were selling articles. The train arrived on time. It was crowded. We got into a compartment after a lot of struggle. After a few minutes, the guard whistled and the train started. The inside scene was interesting. A salesman was selling locks, scissors and comb. A blind man was singing a song. Some passengers were playing cards while a few of them were reading magazines. We were passing through fields, rivers and hills. I was enjoying the lovely view from the window. The trained stopped at Mathura. We bought sweets and had tea. The train started again. In about thirty minutes, we reached Agra. We enjoyed very much.
