WHY MANY CHILDREN FAIL IN EXAMINATIONS?
False expectations of parents are often the root cause of failure of children in school. Most parents want a dream child, a child who will satisfy all their unfulfilled desires and ambitions, and they feel rejected and disappointed when their children do not meet their aspirations. What parents fail to understand is that, in the process, they are robbing their children of their mental peace. Very often these children grow up to be aggressive and defiant individuals. On account of the wrong handling of children by parents, they lose self-confidence. Another reason for a number of failures is the attitude of the teachers. There are many teachers who do not teach properly in the class. They take private tuitions and as such run after money. The poor students, who cannot afford to take tuitions, fails in the examination. Sometimes the question paper is so tough that an average students is not able to answer the questions and fails.
